Hi I'm Philippa Hawkins!

I live in Fareham with my husband, Brian. I am a mother and grandmother; my life is enriched by family, friends and the quiet routines that hold us together.

I spent my professional career managing large implementation projects in the UK and internationally across government and industry. I worked as a coach, mentor and trainer with a wide variety of people and organisations, from ministers in central government to teenagers in local youth groups. That work taught me how to listen closely, shape practical plans and bring dignity and calm to difficult moments.

I volunteer as a business mentor with a global women’s charity, supporting entrepreneurs with practical guidance and encouragement. I have always loved the written word; several of my fictional stories have been published in magazines and book collections.

I love being a Funeral Celebrant. I am committed to making every ceremony unique and personal, a true celebration of life. My ceremonies are centred on the people involved: the words, poems and music are chosen and agreed with you, with my guidance and care. I always do my very best to create a special celebration that will stay in your heart forever.
